What Reconciliation receives

Reconciliation has no input API for transactions. It reads them, and everything else it needs, from other Hii Retail services:

The PosLog must say which business unit, workstation and operator a transaction belongs to. Reconciliation finds the drawer from the workstation or the operator, depending on the store's accountability.

Before a store starts trading

🛑 Check the store's setup before its tills send their first transaction. Reconciliation reads each transaction once, with the settings it has at that moment. Changing a setting afterwards does not reprocess anything.

  1. Accountability. The default is WORKSTATION, one drawer per till. Set rec.accountability-type.v1 to OPERATOR if cashiers carry their own drawer. A store or workstation set to NONE is not reconciled: its transactions are not kept for later.
  2. Tender settings. Add the tenders to count to rec.tenders-config.v1. Until a tender is there, nothing is counted for it, and a store without any tender settings gets only till audits with nothing to count.
  3. A safe in Cash Management, so that the counted cash reaches the safe. See Cash to and from the safe.

The business unit itself must exist in Business Unit Management, and the store's tills must deliver their PosLogs to the Transaction Repository.
