Customer Facing Display

Customer Facing Display is used for customer to see which items were added to his receipt.

When 2 displays are available, it is automatically opened on the second one in full screen mode.

To open customer display manually, go to CFD settings.

You'll have 2 options:

  1. Open customer display at boot (automatically);
  2. Customer display status (open customer display right now).

After opening customer display, it will show welcome message while you don't start a new receipt.

After you login and start the receipt, it will display items added, total and amount due values:

Note: Customer display doesn't render decorators like logo and receipt comment.

After the cashier performs the payment, the receipt is cleared and the welcome message is displayed on the CFD.

Loyalty Card​

The loyalty card is shown on the Customer Facing Display by default (showLoyaltyCard defaults to true). To hide the loyalty card from the Customer Facing Display, you can configure the showLoyaltyCard to false. This can be useful when you want to simplify the customer interface or when loyalty functionality is not required.
