Assortment Policy
The Assortment Policy entity will provide input on how items are assigned to assortment for Business Units. The policy will assign or remove all items provided in the input to the Assortment for the BusinessUnitGroupId specified in the input. It will also allow other assortment properties to be set, like assortment codes (tags), to and from dates, etc.
This means that if the Assortment Policy is assigned to a Business Unit Group Id on top- or mid-level, all Business Units located under this node in the hierarchy will get these item(s) set to the Assortment Type provided in the Assortment Policy.
The assortment policy will be stored for later reference as it is.

Assortment Types
| Assortment type | Description |
|---|---|
AVAILABLE_ASSORTMENT | Indicates that the Item is available to include into the active assortment for a Business Unit |
IN_ASSORTMENT | Indicates that the Item is in the active assortment for a Business Unit |
EXPIRING_ASSORTMENT | Indicates that the Item is still in the active assortment, but expected to be removed after a sell-out grace period. There might be rules dictating when and how the Item will be removed from the active assortment. |
REMOVE_FROM_ASSORTMENT | The product is not in any available assortment and will not be possible for a Business Unit to include into assortment, nor see in any kind of search. |
