Exit Unit

Introduction​

Exit Unit is an Android-only application that displays a fullscreen QR code for exit verification in retail environments. The app is deployed to store devices via MDM (Mobile Device Management) and enables customers to scan a QR code to verify and complete their shopping trip.

Capabilities​

  • Display dynamically generated QR codes per store
  • Auto-refresh QR codes based on server-provided TTL (time-to-live)
  • Apply brand customization (theme colors, logo, background image) from CCC
  • Resilient to network failures with retry logic and fallback modes
  • Support for multiple languages (English, Swedish, Dutch)
  • Secure authentication with OCMS and token-based access
