Monitoring & Observability

The Monitoring & Observability section, accessible within the Landingpage, provides clients with tools and insights to monitor system performance. This section is designed to offer a comprehensive overview of important system metrics and reports to ensure smooth operation and quick resolution of potential problems. Users can find the following features:

  • SLA Reports
  • Events
  • Other Links

SLA Reports

The SLA Reports view allows users to access and manage the latest Service Level Agreement (SLA) reports. These reports provide critical insights into system uptime, performance metrics, and compliance with agreed-upon service levels.

Within this view:

  • Users can view a list of all generated SLA reports, ensuring transparency and easy access to performance data.
  • Reports are available for download, enabling offline analysis or sharing with stakeholders.
  • There are currently no restrictions on the number of reports displayed.

Events

The Events view offers search and troubleshooting capabilities for failed events. Failed events refer to instances where a specific action or data change was not successfully processed by the system's consumer, such as a Point-of-Sale (POS) system, and consequently, the intended changes were not applied.

Key capabilities of this view include:

  • Date-Specific Search: Users can search for events that occurred on a specific date, helping to narrow down issues to a defined timeframe.
  • Correlation ID Search: Once a date is selected and results are displayed, users can further refine their search by specifying a unique correlation ID. This enables pinpoint accuracy when investigating individual transactions or actions.
  • CSV Export: The results list can be exported to a CSV file, allowing for further processing, analysis, or sharing with other team members.

This feature is particularly helpful for identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues that may impact operational workflows or data accuracy. Additionally, clients can subscribe to receive this information via External Events. For further details, refer to Missing Consumer Data.

The Other Links section serves as a repository of useful resources and references. Currently, it includes:

  • A direct link to the Hii Retail status page, which provides real-time updates on system health and incidents.
