Currency
Currency refers to the system of money in general use in a particular country.
Unlike the deprecated service "Currency & Exchange Rates", the new service contains global definitions for all currencies and denominations. Maintaining the currency definition is no longer done by the tenants using APIs. This is to avoid invalid currencies being added.
To enable a currency for a tenant/business unit, this is done in the Hii Retail In-Store frontend.
Note: This service partly replaces the currency features for the deprecated services Currency & Exchange Rates and Denominations. I.e. maintenance of currencies are no longer supported since these are now global.

Denominations
Denomination refers to the units of value used to classify financial instruments such as paper currency and coins.
Examples of denomination for currency EUR:
